The Inn at Pound Ridge was sold about a month ago. I spoke to Ed Hawkins, who is managing the property for a group of investors called Pound Ridge Holdings.
So far, they’ve only come across one customer who had booked a party on Sept. 9.
“But they made other arrangements, said Hawkins. He also says the phone’s been ringing off the hook for reservations, and he’s telling people “we’re making some changes.
I left a message for former owner Dorothy Treyball at her home in Connecticut, but I haven’t heard back yet.
Hawkins confirmed the investos hold a “round-robin telephone auction for the business, which is on 2.7 acres of land. People are welcome to come up and tour the place before the auction begins on Sept. 9.
Hmm  the same day that party was scheduled…
