More Buzz on The Inn at Pound Ridge


The Inn at Pound Ridge was sold about a month ago. I spoke to Ed Hawkins, who is managing the property for a group of investors called Pound Ridge Holdings.

So far, they’ve only come across one customer who had booked a party on Sept. 9.
“But they made other arrangements,� said Hawkins. He also says the phone’s been ringing off the hook for reservations, and he’s telling people “we’re making some changes.�

I left a message for former owner Dorothy Treyball at her home in Connecticut, but I haven’t heard back yet.
Hawkins confirmed the investos hold a “round-robin� telephone auction for the business, which is on 2.7 acres of land. People are welcome to come up and tour the place before the auction begins on Sept. 9.

Hmm — the same day that party was scheduled…
