   I’ll go anywhere in our three counties, and I like just about everything.

   Here are a two I found out about last night:
   Rick’s Club American in Congers
   Chiboust in Tarrytown

   Rick’s is ok. It has gone down in my opinion over the years. They do BBQ. if you go up the road to 9W and go left at the lake, you will find La Triestinas which is good Italian food ( I like it). and Restaurant X just a little ways past that. if you go right on 9W on the corner is Kennely’s and its ok food too. If you go on to 202 in garnerville there’s a Japanese restaurant in the shopping center. its next to the old bleachers bar and grill. They have awesome food there, try to get the house special oysters!
   Then hastings on the Hudson you will find Tony’s Steak and Seafood. It’s really good.
   Black Forest is supposed to have really good german Food. I used to go to Ivonas but they closed.
   New City on main street as a few decent places, There’s the mandarin place in the Cinema movie theatre strip mall.
   Ernestos which is a greek place was very good.
   Well thats mostly the places I would go out of my way for…
   Hope thats helpful.. But if you get a craving shoot me an email and i will come up with a place. Cause I love food.

   La Quinta Steakhouse in Pearl River—I’d go out of my way to dine there ANY time. The food is just fantastic and service is impeccable—it’s like a SoHo restaurant here in Rockland.

   Hi, Liz—I’m not sure if your 3:43 posting referred to La Quinta, but in case it did, I walked by there last night around 7:30 and there were a few diners inside and a table of three outside. Not sure if this is the norm or just for the summer, maybe? I usually go there for their outstanding fixed price lunch so I can’t be certain. I guess it’s best to call ahead!

   I am a friday-sunday eat out kinda person. going out for a sitdown on a monday is difficult.
   But I cannot for the life of me see why they would be closed. Good luck and let me know what ya think.

    Kraft Bistro in Bronxville is open on Mondays. As is Latitute 36 just around the block.

    The red hat in Irvington is open on Mondays.

    I just found this great new place in New Rochelle.
    It’s caled DaVinci’s Cafe. What a great find! The food and decor is amazing.

    Ditto here. We absolutely loved the food.
    We had the Salmon alla Pepper Verde and the Zeppole DaVinci for dessert. Delicious!!!! Planning on going again this weekend. YUM

    Thanks for the tip about DaVincis. Service was excellent, food was great, and it was gentle on the wallet. I’ll be back
