Hi Liz,

The following may be of interest to your readers...

Starting on Wednesday, January 10, Zagat Survey will offer visitors of Zagat.com free access to ratings and reviews of all Zagat-rated restaurants participating in Winter Restaurant Weeks in New York City, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

Web users can view a list of restaurants in each city, plus details regarding dates and meal deals at http://www.zagat.com/restaurantweek. In addition, visitors will be able to provide reviews of their own Winter Restaurant Week dining experiences, which will be posted on Zagat.com.

In 1992, Tim Zagat and renowned restaurateur Joe Baum conceived the idea of enlisting top Manhattan restaurants to offer $19.92 lunches as a promotion while the Democratic National Convention was in town. As a result, NYC’s popular Restaurant Week was born. Given the success of this promotion, cities around the nation gradually started their own versions of the promotion.

Please share with your audiences this free, useful and interactive opportunity.

This offer will last throughout the month of January, starting January 10th and will run until the end of the Restaurant Week dates. See below for a listing of this year’s Winter Restaurant Weeks.

New York City
January 22-26 and January 29-February 2
Three-course lunches for $24.07 and/or dinners for $35

Philadelphia

Dear Liz:

I have been reading your reviews and lively posts the past couple of months. I am a native of Westchester, particularly New Rochelle and a former White Plains resident but have lived out west for the past dozen years. As I still have family in New Rochelle and visit now and then I was excited to see that there actually is a new restaurant there which I am hoping you will visit.

I am sure you are aware of Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera’s new place on Memorial Highway, Mo's Grill in New Rochelle. It opened this past July. I hope its on your list to visit since I am sure many of us would love to know what you think. He has it listed as American/Continental and a family restaurant.

Hope to hear back!

Keep up the good work.
