Right down the block from me in Scarsdale is a place called Ruffled Feathers. They have incredible spit roasted chicken, great sides, soups etc. They also make great breaded baked cutlets, ribs, and even great chicken parmigana. The people there are very friendly and while not cheap, worth every penny!

I think The Greek Village in Norwood, NJ (201) 750-8570 has the best take-out Greek food. I love the Pastichio (made with real bechamel) and the Gyro (I am a fan of Nestos also) For Chinese I go to Ocean Empire in MT. Ivy 845-354-8318 The Best Hot & Sour Soup!!!

Chinese: ShenWang in NewCity/Bardonia near Albertus magnus. Clean and really good food. They have Char Siu Bow (Roast Pork Bun) which you can only get in china town. Ma Po ToFu which is a spice peasant dish.

For Pizza its always hard, Hilltop Deli has the better of most of the pizza's in town. Italian sandwiches We go to Victors mostly. sometimes Roccos. all in new city.

Yes, Chef Antonio is a restaurant down the road from the train station. They are at 551 Halstead Ave., corner of Halstead and Beach, phone # 914-698-8610. Their gorgonzola vinegrette is amazing as well as the sauted portabello mushrooms and pork chops contadina. If you go, tell Sylvestro Beth and Joe from Stuart Avenue sent you.

Ted — I like Francescos, too! Baked ziti. Yum. Have you tried their thin-crust pizzas?

Beth — Is Chef Antonio a restaurant? Where in Mamaroneck?

Whole Foods in White Plains is the best. Fresh, clean food. They have the most wonderful veggie burgers and chicken soup. Hot entires, cold dishes and there is no better salad bar. Also, Chef Antonio in Mamaroneck will make anything on their menu for take-out. Excellent.

Italian: Silvio's in Thornwood. Everything is great but some of my personal favorites are the lasagna (a whole plate full!), pasta fagiole soup and Fettuccini Monte Bianco.

Chinese: Ming Dynasty in White Plains has dinner combinations that will always leave you with left overs (and money in your pocket). They are reasonably priced, give you a large serving of food, offer quick delivery and will accommodate requests like Pork LoMein without veggies (always a request of a friend of mine). But beware if they are busy they don't always deliver to the outskirts of White Plains

Pizza: Broadway Pizza in North White Plains has awesome pizzas and chicken tortellini soup.

Greek: Niko's in White Plains. My office used to love to order from Niko's but now that they increased the minimum for delivery we don't see Greek around here much though the gyros are worth the trip!

And a new favorite for re-heatable meals is Pilone's market in Silver Lake (White Plains). While it's not a restaurant, stop in on your lunch break and you can pick up any number of items to heat up at home or if you want to do some of the cooking they always have fried chicken cutlets or fried eggplant slices, rice balls and stromboli's.

Hi Michelle! I used to order from Mix It Up a lot, but I had quite a number of customer service problems.

What do you like there?
