Prepared Foods — Your Favorites?

A reader named Kathie emailed me to suggest I do something on a local gourmet foods shop: Drop By Gourmet, at 40 South Main St., New City (corner of Demarest and Main).

My mom, who works near the courthouse, often picks up lunch there, and sometimes she uses them for catering. I quite like the food. What are some of your favorite pick-up places?

‘Recommend the salmon, lobster lasagna, seafood pasta salad, quinoa salad, mango jicama salad, cold strawberry soup … to name a few. Wonderful meat counter as well if you’re wanting to cook your own.
