Fall Restaurant Preview: The Tap House

Excerpts from our dining preview, set to publish in The Line on Friday:

The Tap House. Jim Sullivan and the Pearl Management Group (Ruby’s Oyster Bar and Morgan’s Fish House in Rye, among others) will open a “high end pubâ€? in Tuckahoe in mid-November. Coming full circle, the restaurant will fill the site of the former Rockwell’s, which Sullivan opened himself in 1984. The “rich in style, approachableâ€? restaurant will offer a reasonably priced yet stylish menu, created by chef Will Savarese, formerly at La Crémaillère. “You’ll still be able to get a great burger,â€? says Sullivan. 16 Depot Square, Tukahoe.
