Fall Restaurant Preview: Smokehouse Chili-Grill

Excerpts from our upcoming dining preview, to be published Friday in The Line:

Smokehouse Chili-Grill. Last fall, Justin Zeytoonian and Michael Hofer took their special chili to a tailgate party in Buffalo, and 250 friends showed up at their tent. This summer, they opened a restaurant. A long lunch counter inside and a half dozen umbrella tables out front make itl a perfect setting for a chili dawg or a signature burger marinated in Irish whisky-spiked barbecue sauce. If you finish the Big Bad Ass burger in 20 minutes (by yourself), you can sign the wall next to the cash register. 606 North Ave., New Rochelle. 914-813-8686.
