RECAP OF MONDAY’S EPISODE OF “MILLIONAIRE:

Jean used his “Phone A Friendâ€? lifeline on the $16,000 question, which was:  “The popular Discovery Channel series “Man vs. Wild” is hosted by a survival expert who is known by what rugged name?  A) Bison, B) Hawk, C) Wolf, D) Bear.â€?  After using the “PAF,â€? After correctly guessing the answer to the $25,000 question, Jean was given an additional lifeline called “Switch The Question.

Jean’s NEW $50,000 question was:  “Roughly how far apart are Tora Bora and Bora Bora?  A) 9.6 miles, B) 96 miles, C) 969 miles, D) 9690 miles.â€?  Jean guessed the answer to be “C,â€? but unfortunately, the correct answer was “D.â€?  Jean left the hot seat with $25,000 in winnings.  FYI — Tora Bora is in Afghanistan, Bora Bora is in the South Pacific.

I saw Jean Le Bris of Vox on “Who Wants to be a Millonaire” and he was fun to watch. The television program however, in its press release, missed mentioning one of the best parts of his participation. There was nary a mention in the announcement of a question he couldn’t get wrong. When asked what a “littleneck” was, he had no problem choosing the correct answer “clam.”
