Malecon, new Dominican in Yonkers

1

Anyone heard of this new outpost of a spot with locations on the Upper West Side, Washington Heights and Riverdale? A friend who lives in Yonkers passed on a review from the Park Hill Reporter, which says it’s got a delicous “Malecon-style” half-rotisserie chicken with a lime dipping sauce, and that the octopus salad is good, too.

It’s at 390 S. Broadway (at McLean Avenue), Yonkers. 914-375-6125. www.maleconrestaurants.com.

Would love to hear some feedback on this one!

  1. I used to go to the Malecon in Wadshington Heights from time to time. People would line up to get a rotisserie chicken and some yucca with onions for under $10. I don’t get back to the Heights all that often, but Yonkers is on the way home!
