Changes on Mighty Joe Young’s Menu

Chef Jay Lippin has changed the menu at Mighty Joe Young’s in Hartsdale — and he’s added barbecue.
“Everything from ribs to pulled pork to barbecue chicken and wings, he says. He’s not kidding. He missed antelope chili, New Orleans style barbecue shrimp, sage-barbecue ribs, plus all the sides: cole slaw, onion rings, baked beans and cheese fries.
It’s a good match with the wood-fired items still on the menu, such as the free-range chicken, the double-cut pork chops and the hanger steak salad with goat cheese.
“We looked at the way the market is changing, and we’re looking for something more casual, he says. To that note, I must add: don’t miss the stone-oven pizzas. They’re great to share with friends at the bar.
