Happy Monday all! Do I sense a tiny taste of spring in the air?
Here’s what people have been talking since we last met:
Chowhounder hates new restaurant in Nyack. (Chowhound.)
MH loves Bengal Tiger  again. (NY Times.)
Some restaurants have posted their Hudson Valley Restaurant Week menus. (HVRW.com)
The Westchester Wine Experience is just two weeks away. (WWE.com)
And this, from JN freelancer Deven Black:
• Main Essentials, the vegetarian restaurant that’s been a fixture in Haverstraw, is moving to Nyack. Back when we first went there, he was saying he wanted to move to Nyack but was having difficulty finding the right space at a price he could afford. Apparently that issue has been resolved. The new Main Essentials is on Main St., just west of Franklin St., across the street from Amazon Cafe. I have not been able to reach the owner to get a projected opening date.
• Orgullo Latino, 247 Main St., Nyack (845) 358-6816. is under new management and their goal is to make the restaurant more family friendly. For a start, they are introducing a daily lunch buffet. They have also posted a big notice on the front door that they will not serve alcohol to anyone under 21.
Any other news over the weekend that I missed?

Any other news over the weekend that I missed?
Blue Moon Mexican Cafe has opened its first franchise location at 261 South Little Tor Road in New City. A second franchise location will open in Hastings-on-Hudson at 19 Main Street in mid-April.
A ha! Thanks Dave! What used to be at that address in New City? Yes, I had heard Blue Moon was going into the old Bloom space.
Hi Liz,
Pasta Cucina.
FYI, Anne from HVRW says more menus will be posted tomorrow.
And just so Idon’t get any (more) grief at home, the actual reporting on Main Essentials and Orgullo Latino was done by Jill Rovitzky Black as she roamed the streets of Nyack. I just sent the email.
