The James Beard Awards were last night. Joe Basitianich and Mario Batali â€” who are going to open a pizzeria in Port Chester â€” won for outstanding restaurateurs. Gramercy Tavern â€” where Michael Anthony, formerly of Blue Hill at Stone Barns, is chef â€” won for oustanding restaurant. Dan Barber, chef-owner of Blue Hill and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, was inducted into the Who’s Who in Food & Beverage in America.
