Chef Jeff Raider is leaving One in Irvington to take a job as executive chef of The Grand Tier restaurant at Lincoln Center. He will also be overseeing the banquets and catering at the center. The restaurant is under construction and Raider expects it will be open in mid-September.

Justin Rowe, formerly sous chef under Raider, will be taking over as chef.
“He’s a great guy — a very talented chef,” says Raider.

Bobby Manzi, an owner at One, agrees.
“We don’t expect much to be different,” says Manzi.

Raider will continue to consult with One will help develop fall menus and catering plans for it and its sister restaurant up the hill on Route 9 in Irvington, River City Grille.

One was reviewed July 20 in the New York Times.

“I think the review hit the nail on the head on the focus of the restaurant,” says Manzi. “And the food being a little different style — more approachable than we were, and the direction of more seafood and the expanded raw bar.”
