Cooking Demos at La Panetiere

La Panetiere will demonstrate for patrons how to prepare a delicious Apple Tarte Tatin, followed by a three course lunch with the Tarte Tatin being served for dessert-

August 6, 2008–Rye, New York–La Panetiere invites you to join us on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, September 16, 17 or 18 at 11:30 am for the third in our series of cooking demonstrations. Pastry Chef Didier Berlioz will take participants through all the steps of preparing a delicious Apple Tarte Tatin or upside down apple tarte, to be followed by a three-course prix fixe lunch with the Tarte Tatin served for dessert.

La Panetiere’s prix fixe lunch is $25.00 (not including beverages, tax or tip). The lunch which follows the cooking demonstration will begin approximately at noon. Please call La Panetiere for reservations for this wonderful demonstration at (914) 967-8140. Seating for each day of this demonstration is limited to 30 people so please call early. We are accepting cash or check payments.

La Panetiere is located at 530 Milton Road in Rye, New York. The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday – Friday from noon-2:30 pm and on Sunday from noon-2:30 pm. The Restaurant offers dinner seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 6:00 pm-9:30 pm and on Sundays from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

We hope you will also join us for our next author luncheon on Friday, September 19th at noon where author Susan Finelli will discuss her book, Behind The Shadows,” and sell autographed copies. We will also have a discussion of high end olive oils from Italy at this author luncheon; the oils come from the same region in Italy as Susan’s main character in her novel. La Panetiere is one of the country’s most renowned restaurants. Known for its contemporary French cuisine and an award winning wine list, the Restaurant boasts its own wine cellar on premises.
