More on SOS’s Dine Out

This time from John-Michael’s in North Salem:

Share Our Strength’s Great American Dine Out
presented by American Express
September 21 – 28, 2008
New historic initiative to end childhood hunger in America!

North Salem, NY, September 2, 2008 — John-Michael’s Restaurant, a fine dining establishment serving European cuisine, is doing its part to end childhood hunger in our country.  John-Michael’s Restaurant joins Share Our Strength’s Great American Dine Out presented by American Express®, as a participating restaurant.  This new annual event is designed to rally the nation’s entire restaurant industry and encourage millions of consumers to dine out and end childhood hunger in America.  Restaurants participating in Share Our Strength’s Great American Dine Out will donate between 1%-5% of their sales during Sept. 21-28, 2008 to help support Share Our Strength’s work to increase and facilitate kids’ access to nutritious foods where they live, learn and play.

John-Michael’s Restaurant is participating in this event because no child in America, or the world for that matter, should ever go to bed hungry!  It’s unacceptable!  A child’s nourishment with food provides strength for their bodies which sustains them.  Food also enables them to grow strong, develop their minds and nourish their souls, which in turn gives them the ability to make our world a better place.   Call for reservations and help us with this important initiative, 914-227-2301.
