I received an e-mail from Don Emilio, formerly the host at Sunset Grill in White Plains. On September 29th he opened his own place, Don Emilio at Lobo Cafe. He’s serving “Fine Mexican Cuisine with Warm Hospitality.” (Is that a side order, I wonder?
) At any rate, Bill and Hillary Clinton seem to approve:
(Note the JN Life&Style cover in the background. I wonder what story it is?)
For now, there’s no liquor license. So bring your own cervesas.
Don Emilio at Lobo Cafe 57-59 King Street, Chappaqua. 914-238-2368.
The 411 on Don Emilio at Lobo Cafe. (Should be working soon.)

Can’t wait to try it.
Our trip here was a total disappointment. Do not waste your time. The staff was terribly inexperienced and the food was horrible. Food was overpriced and portions were tiny. One of the first times I have had bland Mexican cuisine. A total let down. Do yourself a favor and order a pizza instead, at least you will be full. 0 stars.
I do not recommend this restaurant!!! 8 of us were squezzed into a table for 6. The food was burnt and tasteless. The service was terrible and there is no childrens menu as advertised on the website. Don’t waste your time at this place!!!
we went there and it was a wonderful experience great food!
I’ve been there a few times with my family and with my girls. The food was great as well as the service. I enjoyed the live music that they have and the comfortable atmosphere. They do not have a kids menu but they are putting one together, that’s what I was told.
Wow, i thought the food was supposed to be great but was sadly disappointed. The chicken was chewy, obviously not fresh and the service was atrocious. Not sure why they were listed in a magazine for having good Mexican food. FALSE ADVERTISING! My husband and i will be going to a different Mexican spot from now on.
My aunt recommended don emilio’s and i thought the food was average. Maybe i went on a bad night. I’ve had better mexican cuisine at other restaurants with more affordable prices. The service was better than the food. I will not frequent don emilios anymore, because its not worth it.
Yuck!! Expensive, the food was gross and the waiter was an idiot. Do not recommend to anyone.
Don Emilios is a DISASTER mexican restaurant!
