Pizza at the Iron Tomato in White Plains

The first time I ate at the Iron Tomato, I didn’t love the pizza. Things have really changed. I adore it now.

The dough is airy and crispy, there’s just the right balance of tomato to cheese and the basil gives it a pop of freshness.

Look how it stands up to gravity!

Yum.

Now I must admit. I tried the veggie pizza — which has artichokes, zucchini, mushrooms… some of my favorite vegetables — but there were way too many toppings. It was overload. It threw off the ratio. I will try some of the other ‘zas, but for now, the best is the margherita.

Another cool thing about Iron Tomato? Mini cheese plates! Look at this:

That’s lunch or dinner in itself!

I made that mini cheese plate! Glad you liked it! They are very popular and change regularly so you never get the same cheese plate twice.
