Super Bowl at Clarke’s in Yonkers

I got a call from Bridget Clarke, the owner of Clarke’s, who was upset that no Yonkers bars were included in yesterday’s round-up of wing places. She says her wings are worth the trip for half the price, but during any NFL football game — and that includes the Super Bowl on Sunday! — you get two-for-one wings for $7.25. She’s got 3-alarm, 5-alarm, teriyaki — plus you can mix and match sauces.

There are 8 TVs at the bar; four of them are flat screen. She’s also doing a free halftime buffet with lasagna, wings, soup and a whole-grain bread she makes herself.

The bar is also known for its burgers, which have very cute names. The Lost in Yonkers is a burger on rye with mushrooms, onions and cheese; the Clarke is served on a toasted English muffin.
