Q Restaurant & Bar: Barbecue in Mount Kisco

Posted by: Liz Johnson - Posted in review, Reviews on Jul 30, 2009

I heard the other day that Chris Bro of 107.1 The Peak is going to be at happy hour at Q in Mount Kisco on August 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be $1 drafts and lots of snacks. Have you been to the new Q yet? It’s just as good as the one in Port Chester.

I had lunch there a few weeks ago. These are the wings. Their wings are incredibly smoky, fall-apart tender and very, very juicy. And I dare say the blue cheese dip is among the best I’ve tried.

The layout is a little bit different than the Port Chester location. Rather than a bar up front, the counter to one side and a long dining room, as it is there, you walk in between two sides of the dining room and place your order at the counter. The bar is attached to the counter.

The day I visited, one side of the dining room was all dressed up for a little kid’s birthday party:

Here’s the ordering:

The bar (that’s my husband trying to shield his ears from the golf tournament… we were TiVoing it at home):

So maybe I’ll hit it up for the happy hour. If so, see you there?
