Dinner and Dancing at Le Chateau
Seems I’m always getting asked where people can go out to dinner and dancing. I never really have an answer. But this press release just came across my desk, and, well, for once, I guess I do have an answer: Le Chateau. This Friday. That’s tomorrow, folks! All the info, after the jump.
One of Westchester’s most renowned restaurants, Le Chateau, invites patrons to enjoy a fabulous night out of dinner and dancing on Friday, August 21, 2009 and again with music and dancing beginning at 6:30 pm. Le Chateau is offering both its delicious summer ala carte menu as well as the choice of its newest prix fixe menu option, three courses, for $ 46.
The musical entertainment, Bock and Blu, a popular regional band, promises to inspire guests to dance the night away. With excellent ala carte menu choices such as an appetizer of Half Cold Lobster with Taboule and Chive Mayonniase and an entrée of Chateaubriand for two Béarnaise, Le Chateau promises an evening to delight the palate with Executive Chef Andre’s elegant French cuisine.
Please join Monique and staff at Le Chateau in South Salem’s quiet countryside while enjoying relaxing gardens and magnificent sunset views. Try our new outside bar menu and don’t forget your dancing shoes!
Le Chateau, one of Westchester’s most renowned restaurants, was originally Reverend Rainsford’s country estate built by JP Morgan in 1907.  Having opened its doors in 1973 and now owned by the second generation of Lozach’s, Monique Jaffre-Lozach, it is well known for its award winning contemporary French cuisine and wine list. Monique has created an upscale and elegant atmosphere where guests may enjoy an outstanding meal and cocktails in the gardens of South Salem’s historic hilltop mansion, over looking the Hudson Valley.
Le Chateau also offers catering and a large main dining room for private parties that holds up to 200 people. It also boasts of a beautiful outside garden that is perfect for wedding ceremonies, photographs, or cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Specialty menus are created uniquely for each event as well as catering menus for off site functions.
The 411 on Le Chateau.
