Huge Block Party for the New Chat in Scarsdale

Just got this in an email blast. Should be fun! (Keep in mind this is a press release):

HUGE BLOCK PARTY in SCARSDALE for the new CHAT American Grill!!
Sunday, October 11th 3:00-5:00

It’s finally here… CHAT- a new American Grill Restaurant brought to Downtown Scarsdale by
Mario Fava, the owner of Lusardi’s (Larchmont), Moscato (Scarsdale), & Chat 19 (Larchmont).

On Sunday, October 11th, from 3:00 to 5:00, CHAT is throwing a Block Party & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate. CHAT is closing off Christie Street- its new home in Scarsdale. There will be dancing, courtesy of The Dirty Sock Funtime Band (as seen on television- the Noggin Channel’s “Jack’s Big Music Show”
and on tour across the country), & eating! …courtesy of CHAT’s kitchen.

Mario Fava introduced Lusardi’s to Larchmont almost 15 years ago. The restaurant immediately built an incredible following for its magnificent Italian cuisine and refined service in a sophisticated, elegant atmosphere. After a few years, Lusardi’s was followed by Moscato, in Scarsdale. Moscato’s brilliant Mediterranean cuisine made the restaurant a gem of Scarsdale- and Westchester. In the summer of 2004, Fava opened a third restaurant- Chat 19, in Larchmont. Chat 19 is very different from Lusardi’s and Moscato. It serves American Grill fare in a SoHo-like atmosphere. Chat 19 became an instant favorite on Westchester’s restaurant scene and a wonderful compliment to its sister restaurants.

The new CHAT marks Mario Fava’s fourth restaurant in Westchester… and, without a doubt, the biggest and most anticipated! CHAT is exactly what Scarsdale has been waiting for- a fun, lively restaurant with great food and cool bar- right there in the Village’s Downtown area. CHAT is a large restaurant with separate dining areas, a full bar and lounge area, and a great outdoor terrace. The restaurant also has indoor parking in its building.

“Fox & Friends” (Fox News Network) called The Dirty Sock Funtime Band ”the first real rock band for kids”… MTV Radio called The Dirty Socks’ material “some of the most exciting and innovative [children’s] music ever!”… and Time Out NY voted the band the “Best Kids’ Band of 2006.” The Dirty Socks are an original, high-energy Rock N’ Roll band that are incredibly entertaining for all ages. They’re best-known from The Noggin Channel’s “Jack’s Big Music Show,” which often plays the band’s videos for “Dino-Soaring” and “Music Everywhere.” The Dirty Socks can also be seen at various family events in and around the tri-state area, as well as on tour throughout the country.

On Sunday, October 11th, the biggest thing to hit Downtown Scarsdale (& Westchester) in a long time will have the biggest party… don’t miss it!
