Apple Picking, Candy and Pantry Cooking


Everyone’s looking to go apple picking in the Hudson Valley, whether Westchester, Rockland and Putnam or further north. Chris Serico has the lowdown on the apple crop, a look at the dates when certain varieties will ripen, plus a list of the local orchards (scroll down and look on the right column) —
