Cookie Swap (with Prizes!), Dining Guide, and Recipes. Plus: Not an Excuse, Just an Explanation
My apologies for not posting much these past few days. I was on vacation, but also I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on a few cool projects.
First, this Friday, we’ll have an expanded, pull-out dining section in our Weekend section. We’ve got suggestions on where to make holiday reservations at the most beautifully decorated restaurants in the region. Buy the paper on Friday to have these great recommendations.

Sri, no the holiday cookie contest is not focusing on any particular event… it’s an event in itself. If yours is one of the 12 cookies chosen, you’ll participate in a swap to be held at Chef Central on Dec. 7.
Phyllis, the deadline is the Friday after Thanksgiving: Nov 27. I’ll make that clear the next time I post about it. Thanks.

Someone told me they saw my name/submission in the paper today but I can not find it on line. I got an email stating that I was not in the contest but they printed my recipe? Am I confused? I know the contest is tomorrow at Chef Central but my email said not to bake just come to see others. Can I get a copy of what was printed in the paper? Thanks so much. I love your “small bites”.
