Bistro Z at the DoubleTree Hotel Offers Special Four-Course Valentine’s MenuTarrytown, NY (January 2010) Bistro Z, the upscale modern American bistro at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown, is offering a special four-course Valentine’s menu that will be available from Friday, February 12th through Sunday, February 14th.
For the first course, choose a delicious lobster and sweet potato chowder pancetta and roasted red peppers, a Bartlett pear endive salad with candied walnuts, or porridge of polenta with duck confit, chives and morels. Next, opt for the warm Blue Point oysters with plum wine vinaigrette, gnocchi with porcini mushrooms, asparagus tips and black truffle jus, or chilled jumbo shrimp with smoked tomato gazpacho and cilantro.
For the main course, Bistro Z chefs are preparing poached salmon with tabbouleh, micro greens and grilled pita bread; pan roasted chicken with butternut squash risotto and seedless red grapes; chateaubriand with cream spinach, roasted portobello mushrooms and potato galette; and pecan crusted rack of lamb with sweet potatoes au gratin and roasted brussels sprouts.
Finish your special romantic dinner with a chocolate sampler or a trio of sorbet with fresh fruit and almond tuile.
