Hey fellow foodies,Â
Donna Monaco Olsen here to tell you the tales of what gets served up for HVRW. Today is my pup Pucci’s birthday (photo of her enjoying Lake Placid). I am an avid cook and also love to bake, unlike Rachael Ray.  You may have seen my family recipe posted in the paper at Christmas time. I have posted some photos below of my creations; Espresso Crème Brulee and a “formal” chocolate strawberry. I recruit restaurants to do cooking demonstrations for WCC’s continuing education program. There are some great classes going on right now. Check them out.Â

I am happy to be invited to blog about the fantastic restaurants participating this year. My husband is ready to eat his way through the list. It will be a fabulous two weeks of dining out with friends and experiencing new restaurants along with new cuisines. I have a different place booked for almost each day of the two weeks and hope you do too. It is a great opportunity to try some of the restaurants you may have been considering. There is a fabulous list of places this year for you to try.

I hope you are as excited as I am. Happy eating!
