Chef owner Hannah Hopkins of Dish in Mahopac will be on Chopped! on the Food Network tonight. I’m setting my TiVo for sure.
I’ve also heard Brian Galvin of Ocean House in Croton-on-Hudson and John-Michael Hamlet of John Michael’s in North Salem will be on this season. Any one else got some tips on our local talent going national? I’m thinking a story is in order!

It was nice to see some local favs on this great show…sadly neither made it to the end. Thought both gave it a good go. It is really tough to pull it out in the time alloted…Think that John Michael should have been a bit more humble but I am sure the words were taken out of the context said for the “ratings”...hope to see more great local chefs soon.
