Hi! I’m Mary Lynn Mitcham, an editor here at The Journal News, and also the editor in chief of Rockland Magazine. I love eating food, reading about food, and certainly, writing about food. Which makes covering Restaurant Week especially exciting for me. Look for my post this week on Opus 465 in Armonk.

At The Journal News, I write about lots of things — shopping, exercise, real estate— but my favorite assignments are usually the ones that involve some kind of caloric intake. What can I say? For me, food is always on the brain. Speaking of which, here’s a sneak peak of my night at Opus: a photo of the soup sampler. Can’t decide which soup to order? No worries, the sampler lets you try them all. It’s those of great ideas that make me remember restaurants, and of course, keep me coming back long after Restaurant Week ends.
