On Thursday night 3/18 I had a great price fixe dinner wit my huband Jim and good friends Nancy and Stu. Jim, Stu and I had the prices fixe steak dinenr with salads for appetizers.

The portions were very generous and the quality of the meals were excellant. Even if you were not going to the prix fixe, MC makes the meal a very satisfying experience.

First, they brough out complimentay cannelini on brochetta drizzled with balsamic. The stead topped with crunchy onions was a sirloin steak that did not dissapoint us. We all three tic. We ordered it medium rare. Of course, my husband had them cook it for a couple of more minutes. The steak came out to perfection.

The waiter Miguel was very attentive and brought out masked potatoes and creamed spinage for the 3 of us to share. Nancy, who ordered the vegetarian dishes was not disappointed.

She orderd a dream girl salad to start and then the liguini with veggies. She loved it.  To end the meal, we all ordered the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. Jim ordered the cappochino which was the best I tasted in years.  We would deinitely go back again.

Too bad they didn’t give us a price fix for the drinks. The csomo Nandy was drinking was great.

P.S. And the wait staff were extremely attentive. The repeatly came over to drop off the excess crumbs from the table.

We were there last night and agree that the service and food were great. The staff really like the man who is at the helm and it shows. They are all great. The chef sat with us for a while and treated us to a few things along with his wonderful company! One thing you might mention is that this restaurant is in the La Quinta hotel in Chappaqua. I did not know there was a hotel there. Once inside this warm setting you forget that it is part of a huge hotel. There is also a bar with a different menu adjacent to the restaurant for more casual dining and catering availability. This is the “sister” restaurant to Opus 465. Thanks for a nice review.

This restaurant and Opus 465 are both located in Armonk, not Chappaqua.

oops! I knew that sorry for the miss-quote. Thanks for the correction. :-)
