The Former Woody’s in Mount Kisco Will Become Village Social Kitchen & Bar

7

Joe Beuti, formerly an owner of 121 Restaurant & Bar in North Salem, will open Village Social Kitchen & Bar in the space that was Woody’s on Main in Mount Kisco. He says he’ll be serving New American comfort food with a Mediterranean flair, including wood-fire pizzas. Before it was Woody’s, the restaurant used to be called Luna — and also served pizzas and entrees cooked in a wood-burning oven.

I’ll update more — including an opening date — as I get more information.

  1. I think the bar part is open, though the restaurant looks as if it’s still closed. Oh, and it’s Bueti–the family owns a lot of stuff in the area!

  2. Went July 9th for drinks and they had a big crowd menu is appealing bar space was doubled looks likes they are going to do great.

  3. Not impressed. The austere, rough hewn plank walls look like concentration camp barracks. The bartender was rude and inattentive.

  4. I have high hopes for this place! I just found out who the consulting Chef and New owner is and couldn”t be happier! Mt. Kisco is in for a real treat. I have had the pleasure of many wonderful meals over the years thanks to the two of them!

  5. I had an amazing exprience there last night. It was very busy but my boyfriend and I sat at the bar. We were introduced to nicole and melissa who assisted us while we waited for a table. They were very personable and I loved the entire drink menu. The wait was totally worth it. The food was great and the bar scene was good. Our service was a little slow but understandable. Congrats and we can’t wait to come back.
