This Week in the Food Section: The Pie Lady of Nyack is Back; a List of All Our Area Farmers Markets and a Great Grilling Menu for Father’s Day

We had a food section chock full of information this week.

Linda Lombroso reveals that the Pie Lady is back in Nyack, and her pies are better than ever: The Pie Lady is Back, this Time with her Son.

The whole features staff chipped in to help get you the information you need to decide which farmers market you’d like to shop at. Not only do we have the dates, times and places for all these markets — we’re telling you which vendors are at what market, so if you’re looking for a particular product, you know where to go: Farmers Markets in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam.

Plus, we have a grilling menu for great summer fare. It would work great for Father’s Day! Includes recipes for: Bourbon Marinated Tri Tip; Spicy Garlic Chicken Quarters; Grilled Vegetables; Grilled Red Skin Potato Salad and Lemon Vodka Coolers.(MCT)
