Outdoor Dining at Red Hat on the River


Here’s a little secret. If there are no tables available on the terrace — or the roof bar — at Red Hat on the River, as when I was there a few weeks back —

— you still have the chance to enjoy the outdoor weather. There are little tables on the grass around the terrace, and if you’re just having drinks, they’re perfect for whiling away an hour or so. Here’s my friend Marissa in one of the chairs:
