New Chef at Two Spear Street in Nyack

Kyle Rubino, the son of owner Angelo Rubino, recently took over the kitchen at Two Spear Street in Nyack. He graduated from Southern New Hampshire’s University’s Culinary Program with honors and Two Spear Street marks his debut as a chef.

A few dishes: Stuffed Sea Bass filled with Roasted Tomato and Arugula Potato Parsnip Puree, Lemon Caper Cream Sauce; Five-Spice Seared Duck Breast Sautéed Bok Choy and Pearl Onions Wild Rice. Warm Apple Tart and a Molten Chocolate Cake.

Nyack, New York—Angelo Rubino, owner of Two Spear Street is proud to introduce his new summer menu. Many locals already know Mr. Rubino, from his many years as owner of his renowned catering hall, the Nyack Seaport. What many don’t know is that along with the Seaport, Angelo runs a trendy little restaurant, with Hudson river views and delicious food.

Along with Two Spear Street’s new menu, Mr. Rubino, son Trevor and daughter Valicitie, who is front of the house, also introduces a new executive chef, son Kyle. Kyle recently graduated from Southern New Hampshire’s University’s Culinary Program with honors and Two Spear Street marks his debut as a chef. This is truly a family owned business from the inside out.

Two Spear Street, understands this “new” economy and is offering its guests 25% off ala carte on Monday and Tuesday evenings. It is a great way to try several of the mouth-watering dishes offered by Executive Chef Kyle Rubino and enjoy beautiful views and golden sunsets through the summer and fall. It’s a great motivator to experience this hidden gem on the waterfront, with its open French doors, providing patrons with an alfresco experience and a beautiful breeze this season.

Some of Two Spear Street’s new dishes include a tasty Stuffed Sea Bass filled with Roasted Tomato and Arugula Potato Parsnip Puree, Lemon Caper Cream Sauce and a Five Spice Seared Duck Breast Sautéed Bok Choy and Pearl Onions Wild Rice. Don’t forget dessert… patrons can enjoy a rich Warm Apple Tart and a Molten Chocolate Cake, all home made on premises, daily.

Two Spear Street is located at 2 Spear Street in Nyack, New York. The restaurant is open seven days a week, for dinner Monday through Thursday 5:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 p.m-10 p.m and on Sundays from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. Sunday brunch is offered 11 am- 3 p.m. Martini and Wine Bar hours Monday through Saturday from 5pm and Sundays from 4pm.

    Very very disappointed. Everything from the cocktail to the dessert was a disaster. Entire table felt the same. I literally sent my entree back it was just horrible. I felt that there was a complete ameture in the kitchen. Very disappointing evening.
