Coppola’s Tuscan Grill Opens in Sparkill

The big restaurant at the intersection of routes 340 and 9W has opened in Sparkill. I don’t know much — I’m waiting for a call back from the owner — but I can tell you this:

It’s called Coppola’s Tuscan Grill, and is a part of a Manhattan restaurant group owned by Salavtore Coppola. The other two locations are on West 79th near Amsterdam and Third Ave. and 27th Street.

Looks like it’s a big, open, airy dining room with a big fieldstone fireplace. There’s a Facebook page with photo of the Sparkill location here.

The menus in New York have all the Italian-American classics you’d expect, such as penne alla vodka, pollo Milanese, caprese salad and linguine vongole and pizzas, too.

I’ll update you more as info comes in.

For now, here’s a link to the Coppola’s Web site.
