I just spoke with Shea Gallante, the chef who was going to be a partner at Arrosto in Port Chester. He will be a chef at Ciano in Manhattan, but he will also still be part of Arrosto.
“There’s been a bit of change in plans,” he says. “But it’s positive all around.”
He also says he’s “still here working toward the opening” of Arrosto, and foresees a consulting role moving forward. They are interviewing kitchen staff right now, and hope to be open in the first half of October.
