Sweet Grass Grill in Tarrytown is closed for the time being. David Starkey tells me that he and chef Tommy Lasley decided to part ways, and that Sweet Grass will open with a new chef “as soon as possible.”

While the menu will certainly change, our commitment to serving food that is healthy and locally sourced will not change. My apologies to all the people impacted by this sudden and unexpected development, including our wonderful staff. We hope to see everyone back at Sweet Grass soon.

Very sad…it was one of the good one’s…reinvent and come back soon!
From what I understand, the entire kitchen staff walked out in the middle of service due to ongoing problems with the owner and staff.
