Everyone knows Harvest on Hudson for its stunning views and patio garden. You might even be a fan of the brick oven pizza — especially the fig and goat cheese. But chef Vincent Barcelona has a creative new special on the menu: a personal pizza made with pear, gorgonzola and ricotta, drizzled with honey.
At first bite the slightly crispy crust quickly yields to the sharpness of the gorgonzola, only to be softened by the sweetness of the pear and honey. The ricotta smoothes all the tastes together. And here’s a bonus: They call them personal size pizzas, but they are big enough for two to enjoy, and you can always get them to go.
