If your company’s holiday party — remember those? — is long gone, Rockland’s best-known chef, Peter X. Kelly, and his family have another tradition to share: Xaviars Christmas Dinner and Holiday Cabaret at X20 Xaviars on the Hudson in Yonkers.
This year’s 25th annual cabaret evenings — titled “We Need A Little Christmas … Now!” — will once again be a feast for all senses: Passed hors d’ouevres start things off, with eggnog and cocktails before a four-course sit-down dinner. After dinner, the chef’s brother, designer Ned Kelly of Congers —
—holds forth piano-side with Mary Lou Shriber and another Kelly brother, Paul, accompanied by Paul Trueblood on piano.

Xaviars’ Christmas Dinner and Holiday Celebration is a highlight of the season. My family and friends enjoyed last year’s festivities and will be going again this year. The hors d’ouevres are scrumptious and a top shelf bevy of beverages line the open bar. The entertainment puts everyone in a holiday mood.
