  1. Peniche was one of the worst restaurants in Westchester… we live a few blocks away – went there once and never again. The service stunk – the food stunk – high chairs and tables (shared) were uncomfortable.. What took it so long to close???

  2. Peniche was a great restaurant, that unfortunately went downhill as of late. Now we know why. It will surely be missed by me.

  3. We were given a gift certificate to Peniche, so my husband made a reservation for Valentines day. When we arrived, we were met with a dark, closed restaurant. It would have been nice if the person who took our reservation over the phone could have alerted us that they were closing and wouldn’t be open for our reservation. I’d love to be able to get my sister a refund for the gift certificate she gave us also — anyone know who I should contact?
