I am so happy to be participating in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week for a second year. As someone who consults and writes about food, recipe development and restaurant experiences, it is exciting to see people afforded opportunities outside of their weekly “norms.” This wonderful event showcases restaurants that may have been off-radar for some, and at an affordable price.
These days, with so many Hudson Valley restaurants now showcasing locally raised/grown food, it is a win-win for both restaurateur and farmer/grower – – and to share it with friends, a win for us.
As a favorite writer, MFK Fisher, stated, “Then with good friends of such attributes, and good food on the board, and good wine in the pitcher, we may well ask, when shall we live, if not now?”
