I’m a Bronx-born, Yonkers raised Italian American who grew up with Grandma’s Sunday macaroni and gravy, a meal you never missed…I am presently single and I have been living in White Plains for the past five years and have watched the culinary scene grow. I love that I can walk all over the city and enjoy the many restaurants, both old and new, expensive and affordable. I also like the fact that even though White Plains is a “city” it is more like a small town, where you will always run into someone you know and the merchants know you by name. I’m a blogger newbie — so bear with me. Over the years I have dined in many restaurants all over the country and the best part of the dining experience is sharing the dishes and commenting on the food with my companions. I thought this would be a good opportunity to enjoy a meal with friends and share the experience with the Journal News readers.
For a number of years, I worked for a law firm who among their other areas of expertise had a thriving liquor license practice so I was fortunate to get to see many of Westchester’s newest restaurants go from raw space to the finished product.
