Small Bites

Juliana is a native Westchesterite and long time reader of Small Bites. She has enjoyed following the growth and sophistication of the Westchester restaurant scene in recent years and constantly checking out new places to eat.

Her passion lies with sustainable agriculture, where she just finished a position with Slow Food USA, coordinating the US delegation to the international food conference, Terra Madre. She now works as a search consultant for the hospitality industry. It gives her hope every time she sees a local farm listed on a Westchester restaurant’s menu.

Juliana breathes all things food—when she is not experimenting with recipes in her new apartment, she is reading some of her favorite food books; Heat and Omnivore’s Dilemma, or watching watching Top Chef; Best Thing I Ever Ate; Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.

Always a reader of HVRW reviews, Juliana is excited to get her hands dirty, and belly full for the first time this year! Happy eating everyone!
