Vicki Borah Bloom has been living and eating in Westchester County for the last 14 years. She’s always ready to check out new restaurants as soon as she hears about them, and has been successfully raising her 7 year old son as a gourmet in order to be able to bring him along.
Her favorites include most Asian cuisines, anything spicy, and foods that you can eat with your fingers. Vicki is also very interested in the Slow Food movement, and has been an active member of the Roxbury Farm CSA for many years. She also enjoys overloading herself at local U-Pick farms and canning the produce, extracting honey and wax from her backyard beehive, and homebrewing. Vicki works as a freelance writer, reviewer, and web designer, and as an activist doula.
