I consider myself an aficionado of food and looking forward to being involved in Restaurant Week. As far back as I can remember I’ve always enjoyed being involved in cooking. My grandmother taught me how to bake rugelach cookies and I still cherish the recipes that have been handed down through the generations.
Cookbooks, the Food network and cooking magazines inspire me, some of my favorite magazines include Cook’s Illustrated, Eating Well, Clean Eating and Bon Appetit. Ideas for new recipes also come from restaurants , after dining at a natural restaurant I was so impressed with the kale chips that I had to reproduce them at home. Using natural organic foods is a priority to me.
It’s exciting to try new recipes; I am currently enjoying various Thai recipes as well as mastering the vegan meatball using homemade seitan. My newest venture is perfecting gluten-free recipes such as chocolate garbanzo bean cake.
I am a full time Real Estate Associate Broker with Houlihan Lawrence. I’m married with 3 grown children. I love the kitchen and my family can attest to the many hours that I spends there; in fact they tell me that I’m obsessed with food.
