Hello fellow food lovers! My name is Michele and I am very excited to be sharing my Hudson Valley Restaurant Week experience with you. I live in Rockland County and work in Westchester County and look forward to HVRW every year! Growing up in an Italian/Irish family where food was on the fore front of my daily life made me a “foodie” at a young age.
My Italian grandmother cooked us a feast every Sunday and I loved watching her cook. There’s nothing like grandma’s meatballs!! I spent 5 years in the Catering/Restaurant business acting as an event planner and then the manager of a 4 star restaurant. I enjoyed my experience in the business immensely and learned so much from our Executive Chef about food. Dining out and experiencing new cuisines is one of my favorite things to do.
