I am excited that HVRW is just around the corner. This is my second year as a guest blogger. I look forward to trying out some new restaurants, as well as returning to some old favorites. I grew up in a household where it was not unusual to spend a day in the city, wandering around different ethnic neighborhoods,and sampling lots of delectable treats. A lot has changed since then, as foods that were once uncommon have become much more accessible. The love of good food has been passed down to my children. My son is a chef in South Beach, and my daughter and I are teaching my 18 month-old granddaughter the pleasure of dipping chips into homemade salsa and how to savor a French macaron.
