Renovations at Opus 465 in Armonk

In preparation for its 15th anniversary, Opus 465 in Armonk is closing Aug. 27 for renovations and will reopen Sept. 10 with a new look and a new menu.

“New windows, doors, booths… the whole nine yards,” says chef-owner Marc Mazzarulli. On the main floor, he is blowing out one wall and installing French doors that will lead out to the patio. He’s also installing another window in the bar to lighten things up. The color scheme is getting airier too, with tans, browns and blues. Upstairs, he’s installing booths and chandeleiers.

The menu will continue to be its “something for everyone” as it is now, but with a few updates, such as a goat-cheese stuffed fig with walnuts, and steamed little necks with hot and sweet sauces and flatbread.

The music has always been a draw at Opus 465. The schedule remains the same: an acoustic music jam Thursdays; a DJ on Fridays; and big bands on Saturdays.
