Brrr! Warming Recipes to Take the Chill Off
Posted By Liz Johnson On January 24, 2013 @ 2:13 pm In Recipes | No Comments
This just is not the time for gazpacho and sushi, is it? With below freezing temperatures, we want warming recipes for stews, chilies, soups and braises!
Here are a few of my favorites:
Joan Nathan’s Brisket [2](above).
Cider-Braised Pork Shoulder with Caramelized Onion and Apple Confit [3]
Denver Green Chili. [4]
Pozole with New Mexican Chiles. [5]
Braised Lamb Shanks with Baked Polenta. [6]
Laurent Tourondel’s Braised Short Ribs (below). [7]
Get cooking and warm that house up!
