Patricia Kwong approached the Hudson Valley Restaurant Week scavenger hunt with zeal, so I thought it would be appropriate to do a post featuring her efforts. She enjoyed a meals at Lanterna Tuscan Bistro in Nyack and Restaurant X and Bully Boy Bar in Congers. She kept us informed on Facebook.
Shared a photo and review. “The entree is Tortelloni di Vitello – tortelloni stuffed with veal and the meat sauce is a savory wild boar ragu. I was starving when I got this dish….mmmmm!” 50 points.

Assagio di Dolci (three cake tasting). 1st cake chocolate cake with chocolate cream filling and vanilla cream frosting. 2nd cake vanilla sponge cake with hazelnut cream filling and vanilla nougat topped with crushed hazelnuts. Vanilla cake with vanilla cream icing, dusted with powdered sugar. Very delicious.” 50 points.
Ordered a cocktail made with New York spirits, and shared a review. “The Valley Orchard Martini – local ingredients: COMB Vodka from Port Chester, NY amd Sour Cherry Cordial from Warwick, NY. It went down smoothly and was really really good.” 50 points.
