This post is a bit delayed, I’ve been busy learning the ropes from our editor Liz Johnson. Let me tell you, there are a lot of ropes! I am a new food writer at The Journal News and contributor to Small Bites. I live in Ridgefield, Connecticut with my husband and 3 young kids. I have a degree in Digital Media from Fordham University and naturally, a love of food.
I have a fondness for Food Network’s Chopped and beautiful cookbooks (I’m looking at you, Thomas Keller). There is pretty much nothing I won’t eat but if cheese is involved, chances are I won’t hesitate. I love to try new restaurants. Nothing puts a pep in my step quicker than good food and a great atmosphere. My usual haunts are pretty low key and typically offer a nice selection of craft beers. I’m so excited to be a part of the Small Bites community and looking forward to talking food with our passionate readers and fellow contributors.
