Looking for a good spot for dinner with the girls this weekend? Here are four great ideas at new spots you won’t want to miss.

Sala on Hudson, Croton-on-Hudson: Stucco walls, exposed beams, Spanish music playing softly in the background and a small, ornate red tile in the center of each table. At this newcomer on the Croton-on-Hudson dining scene, owned by partners Rob Lombardi and Michael Jannetta, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a small restaurant in Spain. The sangria flows as you share tapas, tasting a barrage of flavors. 8 North Broadway, Nyack: The magnificent copper bar and tin ceilings of the former Lushane’s have been maintained, but the restaurant has received a modern facelift inside and out. The menu features traditional Mediterranean dishes with ever-shifting local ingredients, sure to keep regulars coming back to see what chef-owner Constantine Kalandranis will whip up next. The restaurant’s commitment to true Greek hospitality should quickly earn it a welcome spot as a neighborhood favorite. 8 North Broadway, Nyack. 845-353-1200, http://8northbroadway.com.

Taiim Cellar, Scarsdale (left): Who knew falafel could be cool? At this lounge, owned by the same folks who have Taiim Falafel Shack in Hastings-on-Hudson, not only is it cool, it’s upscale. And it pairs pretty great with the hard-to-come-by wines from Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Greece and Portugal. Moroccan fixtures, in alternating globe and teardrop shapes, set the tone for the lounge-y decor, and banquettes and comfortable, plush brown ottomans can be moved around the room to accommodate parties and wine tastings. The menu also has cheese, sandwiches and no fewer than 11 creative variations of hummus, including preserved lemon, roasted garlic and tomato, edamame and, interestingly, truffle oil. 11 Boniface Circle, Scarsdale. 914-723-6900, taiimcellar.com

The Tapp, Tarrytown: Renovations at the old Brut on 9 have turned this former bar into a bonafide cocktail lounge with a mixologist who can shake a very well-crafted drink. Take a table along the comfy banquette or try to nab a bar seat, and order terrific salads and sliders (try the meatball). The atmosphere, welcoming and clean but casual and hip (can you say Edison bulbs?) works well for families, dates or girls night out. There’s also an impressive craft beer list. 17 N.
